“The love child of Pink Floyd and The Grateful Dead” – Max Volume, Reno DJ @ 105.7 KOZZ

Steeped in the traditions of Psychedelic Rock, Classic Rock, and Americana and approached with a Jam Band sensibility, Boondoggle played a fun, danceable mix of songs by bands like The Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Traffic, Derek & the Dominos, The Byrds, and Tom Pettey.

Boondoggle was originally formed in 2016 and quickly became a Reno favorite, playing events and venues such as Reno Food Truck Friday, Reno Earth Day, Sierra Nevada Journey’s ScienceFest, Studio on 4th, The Saint, and 2017 Third Thursday Artist-In-Residence at St. James Infirmary.  We also shared the bill with national touring acts Dangermuffin and Moonsong and frequently played with our friend, local Reno legend, Max Volume.

Boondoggle is currently on hiatus, but who knows what the future will bring….

Jim Dabal – Guitar/Vocals
Rick Winfield – Guitar/Vocals
Doug Adams – Bass/Vocals
